WHAT IS TAROT?
The Tarot is the STORY BOOK of our lives, it is a MIRROR of our SOULS, a way to CONNECT with our inner wisdom. The cards reflect your story, through deep SYMBOLISM and IMAGERY from many different religious, non-religious + cultural influences.
The Tarot is a POWERFUL TOOL of divination for PERSONAL GROWTH, SELF DEVELOPMENT, and connecting with your HIGHEST SELF.
SO WHAT IS DIVINATION?
For me, divination is NOT about FORTUNE TELLING, because I believe in FREE-WILL and your ability to direct yourself in any direction you CHOOSE.
Divination is about COMMUNING with the DIVINE and with the divine energy that is in YOU. It is about looking into your conscious and subconscious mind to bring you CLAIRITY, REASSURANCE, SELF-AWARENESS + ENLIGHTENMENT. It is simply a TOOL that REFLECTS back to us what we already know within ourselves, our INNER WISDOM.
MAJOR ARCANA
There are 78 cards within the deck. The first 22 are called the Major Arcana and these cards reflect the MAJOR LIFE LESSONS that we all must face at some point in our lives. These cards have BIG ENERGY and KARMIC INSIGHTS into where we currently are on our LIFE’S JOURNEY.
MINOR ARCANA
The remaining 56 cards are called the Minor Arcana. These cards depict and embody the EVENTS, ENERGIES, CHARACTERS and CIRCUMSTANCES that impact our EVERYDAY LIVES. The minor cards show the VARIABLES in our lives that can and will CHANGE IF WE WANT THEM TO.
Every Tarot card is associated with one of the 5 elements: 🜁 AIR, 🜂 FIRE, 🜄 WATER, 🜃 EARTH + AETHER (Spirit or Quintessence). Aether and the other 4 main elements are represented through out the major arcana suit. The minor arcana are divided into FOUR SUITS, each representing one of the 4 main elements.
🜁 SWORDS represent air and relate to the mind, thought, communication, truth and expression.
🜂 WANDS represent fire and relate to the spirit, passion, creativity, inspiration and primal energy.
🜄 CUPS represent water and relate to emotion, feelings, intuition, love, relationships and connections.
🜃 PENTACLES represent earth and relate to the material realm, finances, work, your body and health.
With this understanding you can see how in-depth the Tarot really is and how effective it can be at relating directly to you and your life.

Oracle cards are similar to Tarot cards but they typically don’t follow the same structure as the Tarot. Each deck has it’s own theme and unique system. Tarot + Oracle cards compliment each other perfectly. They work together to tell an even more visually compelling and clear message.
My favorite Oracle decks include themes tied to the Moon, Stars, Astrology, Goddesses, Spirit Animals, and my personal favorite, the Sacred Rebel deck.
